Melissa Ochoa is a legal assistant in our Imperial County\Yuma office. Melissa is bilingual in English and Spanish and conducts interviews of new clients, communicates with clients regarding information needed and status of claims, assists with the preparation of written responses to forms and inquiries from the Social Security Administration, coordinates the gathering of medical records with clients, and provides general support for the preparation of clients’ claims for hearings.

Craig Fahey earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley, and then his juris doctorate from the University of San Diego School of Law. He served as a summer extern for the Honorable Edward J. Garcia, District Judge of the Eastern District of California, during law school. Mr Fahey is licensed to practice law in California, Arizona, and Nevada and is licensed as a CPA (inactive) in California. He has represented individuals in all three states, and has been involved in over 1000 hearings on Social Security Disability claims.
Joan Bishop is a legal assistant in the firm’s San Diego office. Ms. Bishop began her career while working for her husband who was an attorney practicing in Social Security Disability law for over 15 years and had previously worked as a disability analyst for the Social Security Administration. Ms. Bishop conducts new client initial telephone interviews, manages files, and assists with the collection of information for appeals and hearings.
Martha Liz Guevara began her career while working with retired Judge Milton Frosburg in 1995. Ms. Guevara is a senior legal assistant for the firm and has extensive experience with the Social Security disability claims process. She is familiar with the intricate workings of the Social Security disability program including the filing of initial applications for benefits, appealing denied claims, gathering of medical evidence and coordinating the claims process to ensure completion of a claim in a timely manner. Ms. Guevara is bilingual in English and Spanish and has worked closely with the Hispanic communities in San Diego, Riverside and Imperial Counties.
Melinda Rogers joined the firm in 2018 with over 20 years of experience in the law, including Social Security disability, wills, trusts, probate, conservatorships, and personal injury. Ms. Rogers assists with client intakes, gathering medical evidence for hearings and routine communications with clients.
